MDOT SHA TO MAKE EMERGENCY REPAIRS EASTBOUND US 340 IN FREDERICK COUNTY

Single Lane Closure Necessary for Crew to Repair Bridge Deck

(January 4, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will close the right lane of eastbound US 340 past the MD 180/Petersville exit to repair a pothole on the bridge over Catoctin Creek starting tomorrow at 9 a.m. Crews expect to complete the emergency repairs by 5 p.m. tomorrow.
