A word from the principal of Pleasant Valley Elementary School, Michael Telemeco. “We are working hard to provide the best experience for students in a very troubling and tough time. We miss them terribly but have to do what is in the best interest of both students and staff. We are looking forward to a time when we can be back together.”

Alyssa Berg, a teacher at Pleasant Valley Elementary School, organized Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse, filling shoeboxes again this year for Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. There were 82 shoeboxes collected that were filled with school supplies, stuffed animals, toiletries, and small toys. Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world since 1970.
