Christmas came early for several Valley families when their loved ones in the military came home to visit. We thank our men and women in the service, and we pray for them and their safe return. Congratulations to Brandon Nokes, PA-C, who recently became a Physician’s Assistant. Brandon grew up in Pleasant Valley and is a 2014 graduate of Shepherd University. We are so proud of you and look forward to hearing more about your success in the medical field!

Congratulations to Dave Thompson who was surprised recently with this patriotic display in Boonsboro! Dave has been a Valley resident for many years and wants to thank his daughters, Cindy Thompson Mullinex, and Melody Thompson Lescalleet for the amazing surprise. Congratulations also goes to Taylor Tritapoe who made the Dean’s List at Saint Vincent College. She is a 2017 graduate of Tech High and Boonsboro High and will graduate from Saint Vincent’s in 2021 with a degree in Biology. Wow, way to go Taylor!
