Between the initial event and the date of the report, the victim posted a TikTok video, shared on other social media platforms, stating she had been “roofied” at Champions Billiards and warned others about this danger. Since that post, there are more than 200 comments with numerous other women claiming someone drugged them as well.
Dictionary.com defines “roofied” as “to dose (a person) with a drug, usually hiding it in a drink.” The drug typically kicks in within 30 minutes and can last for several hours, leaving the victim sleepy, weak, confused, and careless. The term “roofie” comes from the drug Rohypnol.
“Investigators are taking this incident seriously and actively looking in to all leads,” said Lt. Andy Crone, FCSO Criminal Investigations Section commander. “It should be noted that since this was initially brought to our attention, Champions Billiards has fully cooperated with the FCSO.”
