Welcome to the Brunswick Herald’s History Page
We are excited to provide weekly updates to the page which will build upon the former Brunswick’s Citizen’s focus on the History of Brunswick. We will provide clippings from the original Brunswick Herald, the Brunswick Blade-Times, and the Brunswick Citizen, all spanning a history of 130 years.
We will also provide articles and updates on organizations that concentrate on preserving the history of Brunswick. These organizations include the Brunswick Heritage Museum, The Brunswick History Commission, Friends of Historic Brunswick, The Brunswick Preservation Committee, and others.
Our friend Peter Wenner will also provide articles on local history, architecture, and artifacts. We are looking forward to showing you some of Brunswick’s hidden history that is in plain view.
