Brunswick Area School News 2-6-21

Due to technical difficulties experienced during this week’s Board of Education public hearing on the recommended fiscal year 2022 operating budget, written comments submitted by the community were not read. Please know, those comments have been submitted to board members and we have three methods to pass along those comments to the public prior to the school board’s February 10 budget discussion.

The comments will be broadcast on FCPS TV Cable 18 at 6:35 this evening as well as Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 6:35 p.m. The comments will air immediately following the re-broadcast of the budget hearing tonight through Monday at 6 p.m. The comments will also be available on the FCPS Maryland YouTube channel and on Boarddocs.

FCPS displays proposed textbooks and materials monthly at a Frederick County public library for public review, in accordance with Regulation 500-38, “Selection and Approval of Textbooks.” Board of Education Reaction Forms are provided at the display.

FCPS posts the list of textbooks for review at http://www.fcps.org/academics/textbooks-for-review. Textbooks are on digital display from Monday, February 15 – Monday, February 22.
