Happy Birthday to Donovan Davoy who turned 11 years old! Mom Heather Cole Davoy says, “He’s the coolest dude in my life. Donovan is so full of life and hope! This kid has dragged me out of my comfort zone. I’m grateful he was chosen to be on my team because I couldn’t imagine life without him. He has a beautiful heart and I believe he’s going places!” Donovan is the grandson of Jeannie Cole Green and the late Terry Cole of Sandy Hook.

Irwin Farm at Prospect Hill will hold a Pop-Up Christmas Shop on Saturday, December 12, from 10:00 am–4:00 pm. Stop by and pick up some Christmas gifts! While you are there, take a family picture at the barn or in their antique sleigh. All their lavender products will be available, along with new holiday items. Good Dog Goodies will be there too! Grab gifts for your people and your pets. Irwin Farm is an organic Lavender farm on a historic civil war property at 19312 Keep Tryst Road. They grow, harvest, and make all their products there on their family farm.

Potomac Valley Fire Company got a special request from Santa and Mrs. Claus this year. They asked the fire company to help them come out and see the good people in our area. They will do two different routes at the same time. The ride will start at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 13.

Route #1 will start at the fire station then go to Dargan School Road to Dargan Road to Back Road, then Harpers Ferry Road (2400 block to Lime Kiln Road), Harpers Ferry Road to Chestnut Grove Road to Hawks Hill Lane to Trego Mountain Road.

Route #2 will start at the fire station then go to Harpers Ferry Road to Hoffmaster Road to Sandy Hook Road to Keep Tryst Road to Valley Road to Deer Path to Grist Mill Lane to Garretts Mill Road to Reed Road to Rohrersville Road, south to Weverton Road then back to Rohrersville Road to Israel Creek Court. Hope to see everyone!
